  • As Kavitha says (April 13th, 2007), "designing and presenting the interactive represtation in one page, keeping in mind the audience is definitely going to be a challenge in this project".

we must consider this point carefully and design the most appropriate visual & interactive. We are looking forward to getting your feedback. Thank you for your comments!

Up to this moment, we have received two suggestions from Ryan and Pui Man:

Ryan suggested us to use Slider to introduce the changes of children in Cambodia.

Pui Man suggested us to add music to our group assignment.

We are looking forward to getting more feedback and try our best to update our protoype based on their feedback.

Thank you for your feedback!

A great summary of your group's work.

So up to this moment, any other new things you are planning to add to your final project?

Dear Ryan,

Nice to talk with you again. After discussion with my partner, Lidia, we are going to:

- add music to the FLASH of our final assignment

- make a slider to introduce the changes of the children in Cambodia.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Lidia & Candy,

I enjoy watching your visual very much. It is well organised and informative. Clearly you have achieved your goals on explaining the situations in Cambodia and introducting the Happy Tree charity.

My only suggestion to your visual is try to use bullet points and simple text as far as possible, so that your audience will not lost patient in reading the information.

Best regards,
Theresa Li

Your work is very informative. It was well explained. Your group did a good job.

I would suggest editing your star buttons to make it look attractive. And make the mouse over and click color changes as well to easily understand where to click. I hope this helps.

Your group is skillful to apply what we have learnt from Daniel's Flash Tutorial in this interactive visual representation. Well done!
I want to suggest whether it's possible to add some questions for the readers to answer / discuss after they've gone through this visual representation.

Hi Lidia and Candy

It is very interesting and detailed presentations that let me know the daily life of the children at Cambodia. The followings are minor problems that you can solve:
1) In History item, I found that if I dragged the button exceed the right hand side of line (i.e. 1993), the pointer would not leave the button.
2) Could the website, which you provided, be hyperlinked?
3) There may be some layouts of the paragraphs such as missing the blank line between paragraph, inconsistent distance between the star symbol and the menu item.

I hope I can see your perfect version of the presentation in the future.

Your presentation is very nice and attractive. Meanwhile, it is well organised and informative.

I suggest you to add more colours in the text and pictures. You can also add music in your background.

Good Try!
Good job!

Ronda

Dear Cindy,
Your flash file is very nice, but I think you can improve a little bit.
1. You can put you PhotoStory in it.
2. Move you title in the centre.
3. Use point form for the introducation.

your project is very informative and we can learn a lot from it.

aside from the suggestion of paula... (editing the stars) probably i would suggest to change some of the pictures that are quite blurry because of the pixels..

i am looking forward to see ur final presentation.. =)

Hi,

I just see a long textual description in the "Children in Cambodia" option. Will you add any photos or graphics to illustrate your contents?

I suggest that your photo story of Cambodia will be a good choice.

Hi, I am Patrick Lai, Ka Ming

- In the "Introduction" section
* it is recommeded to add a button called "Show Map" or "Hide Introduction Text".
* This is used to allow the audience to see the map to know more on where "Cambodia" is located.
* This is useful for the audience to have a "visual view" about "Cambodia".

- In the "Happy Tree Social Services" section,
a hyperlink is provided. It is recommended to make that link "clickable"
which directly goes to the webpage automatically (like a button).

- In the "History" section, the slide bar used effectively for the audience to know what are happened in different time slots. Good design.

- In the "Children in Cambodia", the "clickable buttons" allows more information to be shown in a single screen. Good design and application of skills.
