- Reasons for our decision
- Purpose of the final representation
During the lesson on 27th March, 2007, we had an opportunity to look at the example of an interactive map of Hong Kong develop with Flash. We get some fresh ideas about the interactive map and want to prepare another topic "Daily Life of the Children in Cambodia " which was visited during 2006 Christmas.
We are going to introduce the daily life of poor children in the capital of Cambodia "Phnom Penh" in order to encourage students to show concern for the needy of the world. Sharing resources and sharing love can make a difference for a needy world ~ Life Education.

After discussion with my partner, Lidia, we are going to prepare a physics lesson about "Newton's first law of motion" to junior form secondary students in order to arouse their interest in learning the topic of "motion" which is close related to our daily life:
- A stationary object continues to be stationary unless a resultant force acts on it.
- A uniformly moving object continues to move uniformly unless a resultant force acts on it.

Newton's first law: law of inertia
"An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an external and unbalanced force. An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an external and unbalanced force."
The principle of inertia is one of the fundamental laws of classical physics which are used to describe the motion of matter and how it is affected by applied forces. Inertia is the property of an object to remain constant in velocity unless acted upon by an outside force.
Why you would like to choose this topic?
And which software are you planning to use? Flash or PowerPoint?
Thank you for Ryan and nice to share ideas with you again. You asked "Why you would like to choose this topic?" and "which software are you planning to use? Flash or PowerPoint?"
We intent to do the topic of "Newton's laws of motion". We find this topic is popular, even though we are not teaching Physics at school, as teacher librarians working at secondary schools (both of our group members are teacher librarians and work at secondary schools), we can use it to introduce Physics to junior secondary students during library lessons in order to arouse their interest to borrow and read Physics books during their free time.
We are planning to use flash to finish it. We hope we can make use of the Easter Holiday to finish it successfully.

Dear Pui Man,
I am interested in your Group assignment "A Farm". I will invite my daughter who is studying in a Primary School to visit your FARM. I think she will enjoy her visit.

Discussion with my group member, Lidia Ho:
Digital photos will be used to introduce "Cambodia" and "the poor children in Cambodia".
Design interactive material with flash to remind students to share resources and love to the needy people of the world.
After the telephone conversation with my partner, Lidia Ho, on 2nd April, at 9:30p.m., we are going to prepare the topic of "Daily Life of the Children in Cambodia" ~ Life Education.
I am interested in visiting Kenneth Chan's Flash assignment ~ the phase change of the Moon. It needs much technical skills to do.
